Samsung initially launched its flagship smartphone lineup for 2025 back in January, but it wasn’t long before the company added to it.
The regular Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra were joined in May by the S25 Edge, a new thin and light model.
If you’ve decided to pick up any of the phones, you’ll want to keep them fresh with a suitable protective case.
Unlike some Android brands, Samsung doesn’t give you a case in the box, so it’s worth looking into cases as soon as possible. The Galaxy S25 series might have highly scratch-resistant glass and tough armoured frames, but they’re not indestructible, and a case will keep your handset looking pristine for longer.
There are endless S25 case options to choose from, which can make finding the right one for your needs feel overwhelming. But don’t worry, we’ve tested some of the best options on the market to help you narrow down your options.
Best Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra and S25 Edge cases
Speck Presidio Perfect-Clear Magnet Case

The S25 series phones are available in some lovely colour options, and if you don’t want to hide the design of your phone, you should look at a case like the Speck Presidio Perfect-Clear Magnet.
This case is crystal clear, so your phone looks exactly the way it was intended to, but at the same time, you won’t sacrifice protection or functionality. A dual-layer TPU/PC bumper ensures your phone is protected from drops of up to 13 feet, while raised lips keep your cameras and screen free from scuffs. There’s even a built-in Qi-compatible magnet, so you can use your phone with magnetic wireless chargers and accessories.
Speck says the case is immune to yellowing, unlike a lot of clear cases, and there’s even an antimicrobial coating to keep your handset clean. The only thing we don’t like is the added thickness – this one’s on the chunky side.
The case is available for the S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra, but the S25 Edge version appears to only be available with an opaque black finish.
Burga Tough Case

If you’re looking for a touch of class, look no further than the Burga Tough Case series. These cases are available for the entire S25 lineup and they’re equal parts fashion and protection.
There’s a huge range of stylish prints to choose from, and they’re so attractive that the hardest part might be deciding which one you like the most. Each case has a dual-layer design, with a shock-resistant silicone inner and a crack-proof hard shell exterior. The bezels are raised to protect both the cameras and the screen, so your phone will be well protected in all situations.
The only downside is that the Burga Tough Case adds some thickness to your device, and it’s especially noticeable on the S25 Ultra. There are also no options with magnets at the moment, so you won’t be able to use Qi2 accessories.
The case is available for all four Galaxy S25 phones.
Casetify Mirror Magnetic Case

The Casetify Mirror Case is a popular option, and for good reason. It offers plenty of protection, a stylish and iconic design, and an almost endless library of customisation options. When you add Qi-compatible magnets into the mix, it only gets better.
One of the best things about Casetify is the huge number of design options available. Pictured is a design from the brand’s recent Gundam collaboration, but there are also options with Sanrio characters, One Piece, NBA, Arcane and more. It’s a great way to show off your interests, and if you’d prefer a handy mirror for your selfies, you can grab the case with no print and look at your beautiful mug instead.
The case is available for all four Galaxy S25 phones.
Tech21 EvoArmor With Magnets

The Tech21 EvoArmor case strikes a nice balance between slimness and rugged durability. It doesn’t add as much heft to your device as some of our other options, but it still offers impact protection for drops of up to 16 feet, as well as Qi2-compatible magnets.
It’s available in either a semi-transparent purple finish (pictured) or a stealthier black colourway. Both have interchangeable buttons provided in the box, so you can add a bit of extra personality to your case. There’s a dual-layer FlexShock bumper running around the edges to absorb impact and raised lips to protect the cameras and screen.
The only problem with this design is that the camera protection bezels dip away to create a flat surface for the Qi2 magnets. This means the lower camera is more exposed than the others, and you might need to be a little more careful with it.
The case is compatible with the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra, but only the EvoClear is available for the S25 Edge.
Spigen Optik Armor Case

Our biggest concern with some of the other cases on this list is whether or not the camera protection is adequate. After all, the excellent cameras are one of the main reasons to get an S25-series phone. With the Optik Armor Case from Spigen, you’ll never have to worry about scratching your lenses again. It has a built-in sliding camera cover, ensuring your optics remain pristine for a very long time.
It’s protective elsewhere, too. There are raised lips at the edge to keep your screen safe, while dual-layer TPU and PC construction protect the phone from knocks and drops. The downside is that there are no magnets for Qi charging, but the upside is that it’s one of the most affordable options on our list.
However, this case is only available for the Galaxy S25 Ultra at the time of writing.
How to choose a great case for your Samsung Galaxy S25 phone
With so many great cases on the market, choosing the right one can feel like a monumental task. If you’re having trouble deciding, consider the following factors:
- Protection requirements: Think about the activities you partake in on a daily basis. Are you sitting in an office during the day and watching TV in the evenings, or working on a construction site and mountain biking? It’s crucial to get a case that provides sufficient protection for your needs, whether that’s slim and lightweight or rugged and shockproof.
- Aesthetics: Everyone has their own style preferences, and buying a case is the perfect time to give your phone a bit of personality. Whether you want a slick, minimal case or a loud statement piece, you’re sure to find something that fits your needs.
- Material quality: Pay attention to the materials used to ensure long-lasting durability. Premium options usually offer top-tier materials, while mid-range cases aim to strike a balance between performance and affordability.
- Usability: Make sure your chosen case allows easy access to all buttons and ports, and supports the features that you use, like wireless charging. If you want a kickstand or MagSafe compatibility, that should be factored in, too.
- Price range: Cases are available at a wide range of price points, so no matter your budget, you should find plenty of affordable, high-quality options without sacrificing protection or style. Think about what you’re happy to spend, and that should narrow down your options.
If you take all of the above into consideration, you should be well on your way to finding the perfect case. Happy shopping!
