Fresh details concerning the Google Pixel 10a launch have emerged, including some potentially positive news on pricing.
Based on the extensive leaks so far, Google’s next mid-range Pixel phone isn’t going to be much of an advance on the current Pixel 9a. We’ve heard that it’s likely to pack the same design, display, battery, and even the exact same processor.
It’s perhaps unsurprising, then, to note a recent post from tech tipster Arsène Lupin claiming that the Google Pixel 10a pricing is set to remain broadly in the same ballpark as its predecessor.
With European pricing set to start from €500 for the 128GB model, moving up to €600 for 256GB, we should be looking at similar pricing, and potentially even a small price cut. Last year, the Pixel 9a debuted for €549.
It’s worth noting that the posted says that these are approximate prices. As such, we suspect that Google is going to stick with the same RRP as the Pixel 9a.
Of course, given that the Pixel 10a is likely to be much the same device as the Pixel 9a, we might have been inclined to suggest that a price rollback would be in order. But perhaps that’d be going too far in these challenging times with spiking memory prices.
The post also confirms the colour options that will be available at the Pixel 10a’s launch: Obsidian, Berry, Lavender, and Fog. We also learn that official cases for the phone will cost €20.

Pixel 10a release date and specs
Most excitingly of all, the post says that retailers are expecting a 17 February launch for the Pixel 10a, which is only about a month away. This chimes with a separate claim from journalist Roland Quandt, who posited a mid February launch.
That’d be a month earlier than the Pixel 9a launched in 2025, if true.
As stated, the Pixel 10a spec list is expected to be nigh-on identical to that of its predecessor. That means a 6.3-inch 120Hz OLED display, a 5,100mAh battery, and a Google Tensor G4 processor.
Also expect a 48Mp f/1.7 main camera, a 13Mp f/2.2 ultra-wide, and a 13Mp f/2.2 front camera.
We’ve seen numerous leaked renders of the Pixel 10a over recent months, and unsurprisingly, it looks a lot like the Pixel 9a. The most recent of these leaks from Android Headlines shows the phone in its Obsidian and Lavender shades.
