Motorola did not hold back at CES 2026, launching no less than six new devices. The Moto Watch is one of them, arriving as a stylish and capable smartwatch which is much cheaper than rivals from the likes of Google and Samsung.
The Moto Watch starts at just £89.99 (or £129.99 for “metal and silicon strap variants”) and will go on sale in February. It will provide a welcome option for those on a budget who want a well-rounded wearable.
Despite features like a 13-day battery life – which eclipses the Pixel Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 8 and Apple Watch Series 11 – the Moto Watch will barely break the bank.
The major difference to many of its rivals is that it doesn’t run on Google’s Wear OS platform. Instead, Motorola has partnered with Polar, a long-standing brand which has its own software.

“Powered by Polar, the Moto Watch helps users log steps, monitor heart rate and heart rate variability, access in-depth recovery insights, track sleep quality and more,” said Motorola.
The Moto Watch offers continuous heart rate monitoring and other features not often found on cheaper wearables, like dual-band GPS for more accurate route tracking.
With a design reflecting the style of the Moto 360 models from days (years) past, the Moto Watch is round with a 47mm case, an aluminium frame and a stainless steel crown. It’s IP68 and 1ATM rated for dust and water resistance.
Other features include a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 front, built-in microphone, speaker and Pantone-curated bands – metal and silicone as mentioned earlier.

Motorola
All in all, it seems like a solid smartwatch for those looking for value for money. Of course, you’ll miss out on premium features like Google Gemini and a brighter display.
The Moto Watch does sport an OLED panel, but the firm hasn’t announced detailed specs.
While it undercuts the big names, the Moto Watch isn’t without competition. There are others doing a similar thing, such as the CMF Watch 3 Pro, Huawei Watch Fit 4 and Amazfit Active 2.
Motorola will be hoping to join them as one of the best budget smartwatches on the market. As will the Pebble Round 2, which was also announced at CES 2026.
The firm also announced the Motorola Signature and Razr Fold.
