A more affordable alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is right around the corner, as Motorola announces the full reveal of its Razr Fold.
Motorola has issued a brief post on X, promising to move “Past the preview, into every detail” on 2 March at MWC 2026.
That’d sound pretty weird and even downright unhelpful in isolation, but thankfully, there’s the context of an associated teaser video.
This video shows the Motorola Razr Fold foldable being opened, followed by a trippy ‘picture-within-a-picture’ effect as we fall into the screen.
The ‘preview’ element relates to Motorola’s initial reveal of its debut book-style foldable project at CES 2026.
Last month, we learned that the Razr Fold would feature a pair of 120Hz OLED displays, fronted by a 6.56-inch cover screen, which opens to reveal an 8.09-inch internal display.
There’ll be support for Motorola’s new Pen Ultra stylus on both – the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 notably dropped support for the S Pen stylus.

Indeed, Samsung needs to watch its back for a couple of reasons here.
Foldable phones are great and all, but the leading contenders sure are expensive. The Motorola Razr Fold could well undercut the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold by several hundred pounds/dollars, if well-sourced rumours are to be believed.
Other known specs for the Razr Fold include a triple-50Mp camera set-up, including a 3x periscope telephoto and 122-degree ultrawide.
