In summary:
- Tech Advisor reports that Oppo’s Find X10 series will feature a magnetic attachment system with Qi2 charging compatibility when it launches in late 2026.
- This positions Oppo ahead of Samsung’s Galaxy S26, which reportedly won’t include built-in Qi2 and will require a special case for magnetic charging.
- The move aligns Oppo with Google’s Pixel 10 and HMD Skyline in adopting MagSafe-like wireless charging technology as standard.
Oppo looks to be determined not to make the same mistake as Samsung with its forthcoming Find X10 flagship phone series.
According to online tipster Smart Pikachu, the Oppo Find X10 smartphone series will ship with support for a magnetic attachment system as standard.
It’s not stated whether the line-up, which is expected to include the Oppo Find X10, Find X10 Pro, and Find X10 Pro Max, will support the open Qi2 charging standard, but you have to presume it will. Even Apple’s pioneering MagSafe standard is broadly interoperable with Qi2 chargers.
More recently, we saw Google joining the party with the Pixel 10 and its PixelSnap ecosystem, which again is essentially a branded name for Qi2 compatibility.

Reports from earlier in 2025 suggested that Samsung was set to follow suit with its forthcoming Galaxy S26 range, but subsequent leaks have put paid to that idea.
It now seems certain that the range will only support magnetic charging when you buy a special case for the job, like the Samsung Galaxy S25 before it.
To date, when it comes to Android manufacturers, only Google has thrown its hat into the Qi2 ring with any real vigour – though we should give another shout-out to the HMD Skyline.
It wasn’t the most popular or desirable of Android phones, but it was the first to support Qi2 when it landed in July of 2024, ahead of the curve.
We’re expecting the Oppo Find X10 series to launch in the second half of 2026. The Oppo Find X9 and Oppo Find X9 Pro launched back in October, so a similar launch window seems likely.
