It feels as though we’ve been talking about it all month, but the Black Friday sales are finally here. For many this will merely add to the chaos – the Tech Advisor team has been tracking multiple discounts in the mobile space for weeks now, each of them urging you not to wait and to buy now with confidence. With retailers clamouring for your attention, making promises about best-ever prices while working hard to pass off their old stock on unwitting consumers, it’s times like this when it really pays to do your research before you buy. Better yet, lean on an expert to ensure you’re making a wise purchasing decision that you won’t later regret.
Tech Advisor’s Managing Editor, Chris Martin, and Mobile Editor, Anyron Copeman, are taking a rare break from testing mobile hardware and accessories, and will instead be turning their attention to Black Friday deals. With more than 15 years of shared experience in the phone news, reviews and buying advice space, if anyone can spot a great deal from a dud deal, it’s these guys. You’ll find them here all day, reporting on only the very best mobile and accessory deals, so you can shop with confidence.
Stay up-to-date with our live blog for real-time updates on the Black Friday mobile and accessory deals you need to know about, and visit our Black Friday 2025 hub for even more expertly curated Black Friday deals, including deep dives into the best Samsung Galaxy deals and Google Pixel deals.
Top phone deals available in the UK right now
- 44% off Xiaomi 15 – Xiaomi makes some of the best phones on the market and the Xiaomi 15 is one of our favourite compact flagships of all time. It’s a gorgeous phone and packs in an impressive amount of tech, including four amazing cameras, a brilliant OLED screen and faster charging than most rivals.
- £30 off Samsung Galaxy A17 5G – Samsung’s latest budget Android phone only launched a few weeks ago, but you can already save big. The Galaxy A17 5G is a sleek phone with a large screen, a solid main camera (in good lighting) and two-day battery life.
- £300 off Google Pixel 10 – The Pixel 10 is an obvious go-to option for anyone looking for an entry-level flagship phone, and with £300 off (use code PIXEL100) it’s an absolute no-brainer.
- 45% off Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 – We haven’t tested this model, but we have reviewed the 5G version. This 4G version is very similar, and has a huge discount taking it below £100. Despite the low price, it’s got some tech smarts that give even flagship phones a run for their money.

A great accessory for iPhone or Pixel 10
One of the best things about the Pixel 10 series is that Google added Qi2 charging (aka MagSafe) and although it has its own range of Pixelsnap accessories, you can use the phones with “thousands” of existing MagSafe devices.
I’ve tested the official Pixelsnap Stand but it’s an expensive disappointment so I’ve been looking for alteratives.
This MagGo model from Anker is only £23.99 (31% off) and though I haven’t personally tested it, the reviews confirm it works well with the Pixel 10 phones as well as iPhone.
It’s a bargin if you want a simple Qi2 stand for 15W magnetic wireless charging.
Black Friday shopping hack #2
If you shop at Amazon, then I’ve got another tip for you to save extra.
You can save an extra 2% (doesn’t sound like much, but it can add up) if you don’t need your items in a hurry. At the checkout, select the ‘Free No-Rush delivery’ option.
This is available on eligible items (Apple AirTags are) so keep an eye out for it.

Nothing comes close to this cheap phone deal
The Nothing Phone (3a) was one of the most impressive phones of 2025. Despite only costing £329, it offers incredible value for money, making it one of our top three mid-range handsets of the year.
So, imagine my excitement when I saw that the price had dropped to just £232.90 in Amazon’s Black Friday sale. The 29% discount puts the Phone (3a) firmly into budget phone territory, where it outclasses similarly-priced competition.
With top-class build quality, a slick software experience and superb battery life, the Phone (3a) could pass for a phone twice the price in many areas.
To say I’d recommend this deal would be an understatement. If you’re on a budget of £300 or less, just get the Phone (3a). Even if you don’t care about the lights and cover up the unique rear design, you still won’t be disappointed.

Black Friday shopping hack
Something I noticed last year, particularly with phones, is that the deal price isn’t necessarily the same for all colourways of a device.
Ironically, I found a lot of black models either a little or a lot cheaper than the vibrant options.
It’s not as prevalent this year, but I have seen some, so it’s certainly worth considering, especially if you’re going to cover it up in a case anyway, which can then be a splash of colour if you want.
Save big on a previous-gen flagship phone
Back to phones and one of the best ways to get a great value deal is to buy last year’s model. This is true as soon as it becomes the previous generation but even more so with a huge Black Friday deal.
There are a number of great deals on these phones but the Samsung Galaxy S24 stands out as the best with a whopping £310 off the RRP at the EE store and the phone is SIM phone so you’re not getting tied into a contract.
This brings the phone to just £389 with three colours to choose from. The S24 is still a top-notch device with many years left in its lifespan thanks to Samsung’s long support promise. The Galaxy S25 doesn’t add much anyway, which makes this deal even more tempting.

Three Oral-B deals to grab – and one to pass on
Hello. It’s Emma here – Tech Advisor’s Deputy Editor and resident electric toothbrush obsessive. We’re taking a break from phones discounts to drop some red-hot Oral-B deals.
There are some genuinely unmissable discounts available for Black Friday. Here are my top picks:
- Oral-B iO3 twin pack – £74.99 (£65 off) from Amazon
The iO3 is the simplest of the iO models (the iO2 is a bit different – we’ll get to that) but it’s the one to go for if you want the brilliant iO cleaning performance but aren’t fussed about smart features and other bells and whistles. A decent Black Friday deal price is £50 but this twin-pack will give you two for £37.50 each. It’s well worth snapping up.
- Oral-B iO6 – £90 (£40 off) from Boots
The iO6 has a day-to-day price of around £130, so this is a huge discount on an excellent brush that has an on-handle display, smart features and plenty of brushing modes. All it really lacks among its high-end features is fast charging.
- Oral-B iO9 – £145.80 (£54.20 off) from Amazon
This is another massive discount – we’ve never seen the iO9 priced this low, and it won’t be available for long. This is a proper luxury electric toothbrush that has all the high-end features: fast charging, smart brushing coaching, a plethora of brushing modes and a full-colour OLED screen.
And one to miss: This iO2 twin-pack deal for £54.99 from Amazon may look tempting, but don’t buy it in the belief that the iO2 is the same as other iO models. It has a different motor, brushing action and pressure sensor. We think it’s a decent model if you’re moving from a manual brush and looking for a gentle electric toothbrush – but if you can spend a bit more, we’d recommend opting for the iO3.
Quick Fire Deal – Power Bank
Need a power bank? Don’t we all and this is certainly one of the best deals this Black Friday. A decent capacity (10,000mAh) model from Belkin with a built-in cable for 50% off. Boom.
- Was £29.99
- Now £14.99
- 50% off
- At Currys
The best budget smartwatch deal just got even cheaper
As you’ve probably noticed, many Black Friday deals have been live for most or all of November. Some have actually disappeared today but our favourite budget smartwatch just hit a new low price.
The deal was already good, but an extra discount takes the CMF Watch 3 Pro down to a new low of £67, a saving of 37% – and it’s available on all four colours.
It ranks 2nd of our budget smartwatch chart (but was top for a long time) and is a seriously good value purchase even at full price. It earned our coveted Editor’s Choice award in our review.
We love the eye-catching design by Nothing, long battery life and a user-friendly interface. It can do a lot of tracking including heart rate but doesn’t have NFC or the swappable bezels of its predecessor.

A bargain on Samsung's latest smartwatch
The Galaxy Watch 8 only launched in July, but that hasn’t stopped Amazon from slashing its starting price.
Instead of the usual £319, it’s now available for just £229.99 in the retailer’s Black Friday sale – that’s a 28% discount, and the cheapest it’s ever been.
That will get you the 40mm model, but if you’d rather the 44mm, it’s also down to a lowest-ever £259.99 from £349.99.
As our full review shows, it’s an excellent smartwatch even at full price. The Galaxy Watch 8 boasts a sleek yet premium design, superb fitness and health tracking and a high-quality display that gets impressively bright. With solid performance and access to the full selection of Wear OS apps, there’s a lot to like here.
However, as with a lot of Wear OS watches, battery life isn’t great, so that’s something to watch out for. But if you don’t mind charging it every evening, the Galaxy Watch 8 ticks all the boxes as an Android wearable.

Quick Fire deal – Pixelsnap Ring Stand
Google launched a new range of Pixelsnap accessories that are designed for the new built-in magnets on the Pixel 10 series. While Qi2 charging is the main benefit, our favourite official accessory is the Pixelsnap Ring Stand.
It has a simple yet highly effective design, allowing you to comfortably hold your Pixel 10 or stand it at an adjustable angle, all while adding very little bulk to the phone. This 15% discount brings it to its lowest ever price.
- Was £29.99
- Now £25.63
- 15% off

Brand-new flagship phone immediately gets big discount
The Poco F8 Ultra only launched on Wednesday (i.e. two days ago) with a competitive starting price of £749.
However, for some reason, Amazon is selling the phone for just £499 already in its Black Friday sale, with the final £50 discount being added at checkout. That’s a ridiculous 33% discount already, making the F8 Ultra cheaper than many mid-range phones.
And make no mistake, this phone has flagship-level specs wherever you look. Think Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 performance (the best on any Android phone), a 6.9-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and a huge 6500mAh battery, not to mention a trio of capable 50Mp rear cameras.
However, I’ve been testing the phone for well over a week, and my favourite things are undoubtedly the Bose-tuned speaker system and denim-inspired rear design. Both are standout features and key reasons to buy the F8 Ultra over the competition.

Awesome mid-range phone deal
The Pixel 9a is still the current generation for Google’s mid-range phone series with the 10a not expected until spring 2026. If you want an amazing value Pixel, it’s hard to pass on this deal.
The phone is now as little as £345.95 (31% off) in Amazon’s Black Friday sale. This is for the Porcelain colour but Obsidian is only an extra £1.05 and the other two colourways are both £349.
Google’s Pixel 9a ranks 2nd in our mid-range phone chart and has a great screen, solid cameras and the purest Android experience, along with long software support. Charging isn’t particularly fast and you don’t get a telephoto lens but those are acceptable at this great price.

The best deal for iPhone users
It’s no secret that AirTags are one of the most popular accessories for iPhone users (and they work with other Apple devices, too). These unassuming discs will help you keep track of anything, from your keys, a bag, or you can even get special insoles for kids shoes as a way of keeping track of your little ones!
Whether you want some for yourself or a Christmas gift, the 4-pack is now cheaper than ever at £74, saving you a whopping 38% and cheaper than a pack of three.
Alternatively, a single AirTag is £24.69 (29% off).
Not convinced? Our long-time iPhone-wielding Deputy Editor, Emma, explains why you will love them.

Apple
Quick Fire Deal – Fast Charger
It’s almost standard that phones and other tech don’t come with a charger. You’ll probably get a cable but no adapter to plug it into. With wired charging speeds rising it’s a good time to get a charger and this Anker Nano is compact, has folding pins and will support up to 45W on many devices.
- Was £24.99
- Now £17.99
- 24% off
- Lowest ever price
- At Amazon
The best budget tablet deal – by far
Above, you’ll see some of the best phone deals, but let’s get started with a tablet deal that many will want to snap up. Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A11+ launched literally days ago and is already discounted! It’s easily the best cheap tablet deal available this Black Friday.
- Was £249
- Now £189
- Save £60 (24%)
- Lowest ever price
It’s available at plenty of places including Amazon, Samsung, Argos, Very and Currys.
We haven’t reviewed it, but the previous model was one of our favourite budget tablets, and I just reviewed the smaller Galaxy Tab A11, which is excellent.
You get a large 11-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and quad Dolby Atmos speakers. This model now has a more powerful processor, faster 25W charging, Samsung’s DeX software for using it like a laptop and a much longer software support promise of seven years – matching its flagship tablets.
If you need a cheap tablet that will last many years and handle a wide range of tasks, then this is it.

Welcome to Black Friday!
Good morning all and welcome to our Black Friday live blog. I hope you’re all as full of Thankgiving roast dinner and vintage ale as I am. It’s time to find some deals though and that’s what we’ll be doing all day.
Phones and plenty of other mobile tech has been on sale all month but today is the big day. Many will still be available, some might have dropped even lower and there will be brand-new deals, too.
So let’s get shopping.
